A collection of modest buildings and row cottages, Sea View is the first resort/hotel ever in Patnem. It is owned and managed by the Gonsalves family, headed by the patriarch, Janwal Gonsalves. The first building was built 1996 with some rooms on the first floor and a bar and restaurant below. At the time, Patnem was just being discovered.

Encouraged with the response, Sea View has grown rapidly, adding a new section every few years. Today, the resort has to offer 33 rooms across five categories.
